Awesome car model of Maruti. Great look. The new Maruti Swift was launched at the 2018 Auto Expo and is the 2nd most popular car in India, I had to test drive it. It is an absolute favourite hatchback for Indians. The beloved car looks different from the outside now but the facelift isn't too major. Minor tweaks and it seems a bit fresh now. On to the interiors, it's all black, rather than usual beige-and-black, tacky-looking faux wood has now been replaced by grey plastic. But I haven't been a fan of the wood and neither I like plastic much. The circular central AC vents and the big rotary controls for the climate control that operate with a solid, well-damped feel are pretty new. The car is spacious, steers alright (not that great), but it's Swift after all. The ride of the new Swift feels a little on the firm side and a bit shook over rough patches at low speeds, but as you pace, it starts getting smooth. Bump absorption is rather good when you get going and the suspension works silently. You get a nice ride; you feel like you are in a big car when you aren't for the car is 85kgs lighter now.
