Wagon R - LXI Duo Ocean Blue This was my first car. I am 5'9" tall and I wanted a comfortable seating design for my driving posture. I started with searching for second-hand hatchback car as I was not an experienced driver. I still remember when I was doing the technical and visual comparison of many cars along with package prices and other options.I have finally decided to go with Wagon R. Since, pricing was also high for Wagon R in the used car market, So I have decided to book a new car. Good for old people. - Good knee space in drivers position compared to a lot of other cars for the same price range. Adjustable steering was an additional comfort for me. - Soft gear shift - just manageable by finger movement. - The engine was so silent - enjoyed the long trips with light music. - Road view - Excellent from the drivers seat. - Great Service - I was always satisfied with the service provided by various service dealers of Maruti and I was never felt bothered about its maintenance cost and servicing costs.     Not very satisfied with: Insufficient Ruggedness: Simple Auto hit created big damage on the back door. Feeling of Roll while taking sharp turns due to its tall body and light weight. We need to compromise this for an Easy entry kind of comforts at this budget. I felt not safe going beyond 95-100 km/hr with this car. Same thing, I can reassure now after using low profile sedan for 5 years after my Wagon R.   Poor mileage - It was giving around 11-13 kmpl only in City but I am satisfied as I was using LPG for most of my City travel. The problem with reverse gear. Few times, it does not take the reverse gear with Gear rod. I found this problem in reviews given by others too. Just sufficiently powerful to carry 4 adults with good speeds but If you are looking for punchy acceleration, not a right choice. With LPG on, sometimes when fully loaded, I was struggling to take the ups. Overall, it was a cool family car but not sporty and punchy.
