Upgraded from Baleno to MG Astor. Can make the difference of Build Quality and the strength of the car. Ok to compromise on the mileage a bit provided it is securing the Family inside as i can make out its strong build quality. Have seen all possible SuVs seltos, creta, nexon, taigun, skoda and then finalized it. Exact Mileage is 9 to 11 in Mumbai City and 15 to 16 on highway with full Ac and luggage. Others may be giving slightly better mileage but the net cost to me was 11.4 Lacs so clear difference of 4 to 6 Lacs which will anyways cover my fuel milage difference yet make me an owner of a Strong car with soft touch interiors in Sprint Model, Loaded steering, led drls and a classy front grill fully provided accesories as well by the showroom. I have seen reviews and let me tell you anyone reading this can trust me for sure because this is my 2nd car out of 4 I have bought till date and I am sharing genuine experience. I met with an accident today afternoon itself when a truck made head-on collision with the front of my car when it was reversing . And the impact was a solid one but except for a few minor bruises , not a single thing was impacted. Almost the same happened with my Honda car a year ago and the damage was significant, although the impact was not so prominent. That being said , if you are looking for a good mileage car , this is a bad choice as it gives 10ish around mileage. In that case , select a Maruti or a Tata or Mahindra. If you can afford a little expensive mileage but don?t want to compromise on safety , comfort and luxury , then go for Astor .
