Alto is a very promising car from Maruti and sold in very good numbers till now. Its engine is very refined, peppy yet frugal. The car will easily return around 16-20 kmpl. I have been using the k10 for nearly 11 months and I have to say the car is sheer value for money. Though the car may lack in some areas like interiors and leg room, it sure is fun to drive. According to me, Alto K10 is the best hatchback car in the affordable prize, I really love it's (AGS) auto gear shift facility, it gives me smoother driving experience even in the traffic. It's 998cc (1.0 liter) k10 engine (cubic capacity) gives me 68ps power which gives be best in class power & mileage.

I have alto k10 2012 model and its fabulous car in this segment and in power, it beat high-end cars. In power it's fabulous but on off-road it gives very good response and goes smoothly on off-road. Looks:- the look is decent and far better to alto 800. Lights & indicator position are correct... Power & Performance:- 998 cc Engine produces 67.1 bhp which is good for a small car you'll never complain this. Maruti claims 24 kmpl but it gives nearly 21kmpl while ac isn't running. I am very impressed with my alto k10 LXI because it's giving me great mileage. It's approx 22 km/ltr and second thing is that after 2 year i don't feel any sound from it's engine. Alto K10 is very good car in its price segment. This car looks are very good both exteriorly and interiorly.
