Maruti Swift Dzire VDI is an excellent car from Maruti stable. It is zero maintenance car. The spare parts are cheap and easily available at numerous dealers across the city. The air-conditioning is superb and very very effective even under the Hot and humid weather which is prevalent in Chennai almost all through the year. You may not have to go beyond 1 to have comfortable cooling. It gives an excellent mileage in city traffic with the air-conditioner on. One can expect around 20 kilometres per litre. However, if one drives on highways it would easily give more than 23 kilometres per litre with the air-conditioner on. The music system which comes fitted is a decent one. The boot space is generally sufficient. The best part of Swift Dzire VDI diesel is its engine. Usually, diesel cars are noisy but when you drive Dzire VDI you will not find any noise from the engine. The pick up is excellent and attains top speed quickly. Even at the high speed of 100 kilometres per hour, the drive is very smooth and there is no noticeable vibration. Another important advantage is that you get the good price when you sell it. The space inside the car is such that three persons can sit very comfortably in the back seat.�
