I bought the all new Mahindra XUV500 last month and well it was the best thing that I have done. Spending money on the XUV500 proved to be worthy as the vehicle was packed with ample set of features. It is the most affordable luxurious SUV you can get in the Indian markets. The model which I have bought is a top end XUV500 W8 4WD, which is providing me with the best of driving experience. The vehicle is equipped with a powerful 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that has a displacement of 2179cc. This vehicle can produce 140Bhp of power at 3750Rpm and makes 330Nm of torque at 1600-2800Rpm. The disappointing aspect is that it is not available with an automatic transmission gearbox but it is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The features given inside the vehicle are very good but a lack of Start/Stop button and head rest could be a disadvantage to the vehicle. On the other side, it has got some wonderful features inside and out, which indeed makes it an ideal choice for SUV lovers. What really impressive about this SUV is its amazing looks, which is more stylish and more aggressive than any other SUV in its class. One must appreciate the company for designing such a great looking vehicle. I have compared many SUVs with XUV500 but none of them proved to be so much cost effective as Mahindra XUV500. This is the reason why I have made my mind own this best-selling vehicle. Soon after purchasing this vehicle, I took my friends for an outing that gave us the real thrill and excitement of driving Mahindra XUV500. Although its price looks a bit expensive, it offers features like no other India made SUV. Hence, I would suggest Mahindra XUV500 to all those looking for a premium sports utility vehicle.
