Look and Style: Definitely the XUV500 is a crowd puller with its stylish looks and aerodynamic contours. I like the sleekness of the body and design of the body. Mahindra has added electronic features in the car with GPS, Bluetooth, DVD player, touch screen, voice recognition and what not. Though, I have my doubts with the robustness of these electronic features.   Comfort: The XUV 500 comfortable seats, including the first and second row. Driver seat is most comfortable and stylish with its 5-6 way seat adjustment movements. Driving comfort is good, and it shows in long highway drives. Maneuverability, steering wheel control, and leg space are good even for tall people. The last row has enough leg space for kids up to 12 years.  .Pickup: No second thoughts about it. You push the accelerator, and you get a feeling of driving a power engine. The 2179cc engine gives you a torque of 140 at 3700 RPM.  Mileage: Though Mahindra claims 12 kmpl in city, I have never got more than 10kmpl.  Needs to improve:  1.GPS system  2.Voice recognition system  3.Screeching sound of front glass wipers.  4.The sound of loose seats and loose side mirrors. Overall Experience: It has been good so far. If the problems mentioned are taken care, it can become excellent.
