Renault KWID has some of the positive features like a stylish look with a good boot space but it has some of the negative features as well like it started getting weird sound while closing the rear and front door. Complained twice about the same and every time it got fixed for a day or two after which again the weird/bad sound started. Every time I had to visit the service center with no real resolution, hence eventually a started ignoring it because when I informed the service guy to fix the bolt he said it's company fitting n there is no bolt which they can tighten up to resolve it. The company advertises mileage of 23 KMPL however the actual mileage received from day 1 to the present day (7 months) is 10 to 11 KMP only which is really disappointing. I complained about the same on the first service itself(within 2 months of purchase) and I was informed by the service person that it is the usual/average mileage everyone gets in city traffic and there is no problem as such in my car regarding mileage. The leg space is very less for people seated at the backseat because the car is compact in size while too much storage space is given at the back. Only 1 viper in front and no viper at back. Even if you get side cladding fixed while purchasing the car then also it comes without graphics, hence if you opt for the safety of car then even after purchasing 1.0-liter engine you lose the graphics provided on both the sides which reduces the look of the car. The floor of the car is of cloth material which makes cleaning the car by yourself very hectic if you don't own a vacuum cleaner because every week you wouldn't wish to spend for getting it cleaned from an outside vendor. This issue is even there after I have had fitted extra mats at an additional cost because the mats provided leave ample enough space in front and back for dust n mud to spread because of their small size. You only get 1 remote key while the other is plain key like you get in 2 wheelers, engine sound is not smooth and makes some noise especially if you have AC turned on.
