The petrol version is of the 1.5-litre engine and the diesel engine is of the 1.3-litre engine but now Maruti Suzuki has launched a new engine of diesel by 2019 which is a 1.5-litre diesel engine. So I suggest that if you want a car to drive maximumly in city areas then it is good for you to purchase the petrol version of Ertiga but you also want to use the car out Mumbai or for a long drive then I suggest you for the diesel version.
