A Car വേണ്ടി

I have been driving the compass limited 4X4 diesel for some years now. I purchased the 2018 version second-hand with low kilometres on it. Driving a jeep is a pure statement and this car does give that pleasure to the fullest. It stands out in the crowd and has a brilliant road presence. I use the car primarily as a long tour vehicle and occasional city driving. Pros: Its riding comfort is brilliant. I don't bother with bad roads, bumps and large potholes as I can maintain my speed and zoom ahead at ease on highways while others slow down. There is no wobble when navigating bad roads and Rocky tracks. The offroad feature is basic and not pure but it does the job very well in non-extreme conditions. Its acceleration is superb and its torque is brilliant for low crawling. The car is one of the safest in India and it does feel like a tank but it's easy to navigate even in tight situations. Cons: The highway tyres are not good for offroad. So do upgrade to AT tyres like Goodyear. The mileage in the older model is poor with the city giving 8 kmpl. Highways, if you drive at 80 mph will give you 15 but I use this beast for pleasure so I take it up to 150 mph so naturally my mileage is low at 12.5 kmpl. The car's maintenance is on the higher side. Parts availability is delayed. Service centres are rare which is scary since offroading has its issues and there is no support in any cities except major cities.
