On 25th April 2019, I purchased Tata Nexon, the XM model. The features I found in this safest & 5 star rated car I bet, one will not find in any other car. Primarily, it gives 3 driving modes as per our choice: SPORTS mode for fast pick-up, CITY mode for local driving & ECO mode for mileage. Next, to it, the central console is premium in itself that one won't find it except in luxury cars like Mercedes, BMW, etc. It looks amazingly classic. This console is standard in all the variants which are quite a good work by Tata. Besides, the siren/beep it produces as part of various reminders distinguishes this car from other cars namely: seat belt not tied, hand brake is forgotten to release before driving, key forgotten in ignition before stepping out from the car, if speed limit exceeds 80 km are some of the major cases when siren/beep occurs. Well done Tata👍, really awesome. Moreover, the boot space of 350 liters in this price range is yet another remarkable achievement by Tata. Ground clearance of 209mm is unbeatable as compared to other SUVs. Another significant difference that I noticed or I felt is that if we compare all other SUVs, certainly Nexon will emerge as a champion amongst all as far as features are concerned. Also, it gives tough competition to Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra xuv300. A major noticeable point is, where all these cars' price range from approximate 8.30 lakh to 9 lakh for the base variant. Nexon again stands way better from all of them as it comes within the price segment of 7.45 lakh for the base model and in 8.30 it gives near about all the required features in its XM model which I am having right now. Last but not least, Tata has done a commendable job so far as its build quality & exterior looks are concerned. Its classy looks, particularly from front & back and overall looks in general, are really eye-catching, in fact, it steals the show. Be in the high mounted driving seat and feel the pleasure of being seated in a compact SUV. I have been using this car for the last 10 days and I have to say, it really delivered what I wanted/expected. Till now, it produced 15km/hour which is expected to improve further after service. Rest, it may vary for many as per their choice of driving mode. I personally give a 5-star rating to Tata Nexon and my sincere thanks & congrats to Tata for making a superb come back.
