To my belief, my Swift is the most trusted and reliable car. We are a family of 4 and travel long distances for holidays at least twice every year. The car has never let me down and is a very fast and responsive car. The Fiat DDIS engine is simply superb and smooth. Maruti multi-jet diesel engines have a life of 10 lakh km & require only timing chain replacement every 1 Lakh km, along with cleaning fuel injectors every 1.5 lakh km, in addition to normal periodic servicing every 10,000 km, which involves the replacement of engine oil, air filter & fuel filter ( every 20 K) If we are talking in terms of Mileage & Powerthan VDI is better than VXi.
