NuvoSport N8 AMT നിരൂപണം
The Mahindra NuvoSport N8 AMT comes with a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine coupled to a 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). It is the most expensive Nuvosport on sale in the country and is priced at Rs 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi, as of May 11, 2017). It is based on the N8 variant and is Rs 60,000 more expensive than the standard N8 variant which comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 1.5-litre engine produces a maximum of 101.4PS of power at 3750rpm and a peak torque of 240Nm between 1600-2800rpm. Apart from the automatic mode, the 5-speed AMT also has a manual mode that allows you to shift gears manually. However, the AMT variant does miss out on features like Micro Hybrid Technology and Eco drive mode when compared to its manual counterpart.
As the NuvoSport N8 AMT is based on top-spec N8 variant, it comes loaded in terms of features. It stands apart from other lower variants as it has daytime running lights, alloy wheels, front fog lamps, a sporty rear spoiler, side body decals, leatherette upholstery, aluminium pedals and chrome accents on the AC vents and knobs.
However, the main highlight of the NuvoSport N8 AMT is that it has lots of safety features on offer. It comes with driver and co-driver airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake distribution (EBD), collapsible steering wheel and height-adjustable seat belts with seat belt reminder.
It also has other comfort and convenience features like electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs), remote locking and keyless entry, a 6.2-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment system, height-adjustable driver's seat, driver and co-driver armrest and reverse parking camera.
