Very bad automatic (DCT) transmission and poor mileage. Voice commands are a waste. No use of being an 'internet car'.

Best Luxurious Car In This Segment!
I have MG Hector sharp 1.5 DCT petrol model. Best in everything except mileage. It's an automatic variant. Best in this segment. It's almost a year and no issues yet.

Perfect In Its Segment!
Got Diesel sharp variant and really fell in love with it, solid body, and ultra-luxurious. In the city, mileage was around 11kmpl and on the highway, it was around 20kmpl.

High Class Comfort At A Price

Just Average Car
Overall it's a nice car in terms of size, comfort. It has more disadvantages. I am not pointing out the mileage as it is expected due to the vehicle size. Worst camera, worst sensor, worst mileage. The worst infotainment system, worst car at this price. Not buy worthy. Wasted my money. Don't go for it.

Scope For Improvement
The car looks good, but the mileage is horrible. They need to change the front dashboard-style which looks outdated. Poor after-sales. MG needs to cater to the people well as Tata and KIA have a better after-sales network

Best Car In That Price.
Brought The car in august 2021 and it has been a month bought the CVT Sharp. Driven in the city and I am getting mileage of 8.5-10kmpl in the city with eco mode on. And driving it very smoothly. If driving rough, it comes down to 5 or 6kmpl

Crapy Mileage
Bought Hector (5 seaters) Sharp CVT 1.5 L in May 2021. Very good on comfort, luxury, and ride quality. Really disappointed with the mileage. In the city for a 9KM ride, I got a mileage of 6.6. Mileage Issues
In the recent increase in fuel pricing, it is very important to see the average mileage for any vehicle. MG has quoted 14 per Km but the average is up to 2000km- 5 per km which is a little bit of concern. Service Is Pathetic. No Commitments Not Satisfied
Safety is a serious issue as the battery goes dead every time. Mileage is 7 km per ltr of petrol even on highways.

Poor Mileage
I bought MG Hector high-end recently. Overall features and comfort are a very good but sad part of mileage 6.5kmpl. This is almost half of what MG guys claim.

Good Car, Could Have Better Mileage.

Best In Segment
MG Hector 2021 is stylish, bold, and comfortable. I have used the previous version but this new version is more astonishing. Mileage is 16-17 which is descent for 2000cc SUV. Spacious And Feature Packed But Not For Enthusiast
MG is spacious and offers a lot of features. The mileage of sharp diesel is around 10 in city and 13 on the highway. Mg hector is comfortable at low speeds but tends to wobble at high speeds. Not recommended for enthusiastic drivers unless you are ready for aftermarket modification of the suspension system.

I have the MG Hector DCT Petrol version, and its mileage is worse. It comes around 6- 6.5kmpl and the company claims 13kmpl it's a very huge difference. I am very much disappointed.

Better Than Tatti Harrier And Best In Segment
MG Hector is no doubt the best in the segment. Its comfort, features, safety features, build quality, looks, boot space, cabin space, mileage, performance and everything is best in the segment. So Spacious
Bought MG Hector Sharp DCT petrol in March 2020. Before buying take a test drive of Creta, Seltos also and you will see the difference. So spacious. The only issue is the mileage and if you do not have much concern towards mileage. Excellent car in terms of space, comfort, and features.

Good For Decent Driving Conditions
Good for decent driving conditions. Do not expect adventurously and overtaking in petrol variant as pick up is slightly less compared to diesel engine. Very comfortable and smooth drive experience. City mileage comes around 10kmpl in petrol MT hybrid. Best family stylish SUV with bundled features in this segment.

Very poor mileage gives a 6kmpl average or evens lower on the highway. Petrol guzzler 15kmpl of usage uses up 38 km of petrol according on their calculation

Good Performance And Low Maintenance
I have been using my MG Hector diesel sharp variant since the launch of MG Hector in 2019. Till now I didn't get any major engine problem or anything. Till now I got the best performance from Hector.
