The Hyundai i10 is almost a perfect hatchback for the Indian market. The idea behind the i10 is to enable Hyundai to fight in the lower end of the premium hatchback segment. The flowy design, classy headlamps and soft curves all along the body give it a sense of elegance and quality. It even looks sporty from some angles. The seats up front are extremely comfortable and offer good levels of support, especially the lower back. But the thigh support was slightly lacking and the headrests are not comfortable for your neck if you?re anything above 5 feet 8. The suspension on the i10 is the tricky bit ? it provides a really comfortable ride at low speeds, but becomes little bouncy at high speeds and in rough patches. It gives a mileage of 12-14 kmpl easily in city traffic with AC, but it of course varies with your driving style. Arguably the segment leader, it equals that car on performance and efficiency, and just pips it when practicality is taken into account. The new Hyundai i10 is a very good value for money buy indeed.
