Ford Figo Aspire, Value for Money

I have recently upgraded from rugged Tata Indica to sophisticated Ford Figo Aspire. Honestly, I was worried about my rough driving and this American beauty's delicacy. But then I took Henry Ford's name and made the decision :) . The car's entry to the market was quite promising and was certainly a game changer. with a lot of stuffed in this car was first time in the segment. I had kept an eye on it since it's launch. Plus the Aston Martin inspired front grill is just stunning. I had gone thru alot of reviews and comparisons before and finally zeroed to Ford Figo Aspire. choice of models was a little difficult so I opted for the top model. A nice white Aspire looks stunning in my garage, great looks perfect curves .. And With the confidence of 6 airbags i took the machine to 180 KMPH... It went with ease and was smooth to drive. Then I drove it normally to check the mileage part, and surprisingly as company claimed 18 Kmpl I can manage to extract 20-22 Kmpl on highway drive. One tankful and distance from delhi to kanpur and return. City drive gives about 13Kmpl, but that's ok on delhi traffic. The driving is more like a joy, easy drive with lots of sensors that was a sheer joy after driving marutis and tatas for more than a decade. I drive it the busiest and roughest routes in delhi & NCR , but never got tired. The driver console is very nice and the car is designed to be a drivers' car, every control is kept for the ease of driver. seat and steering can be easily adjusted as per your driving comfort and conditions The cabin is spacious and comfortable, interior is little disappointing but is comparable to other vehicles in the same segment so, i would not complain. My only struggle with European and American cars was, the placement wiper and light controls as they were designed for left hand driven cars, but ford has worked on it and in aspire the driver controls are designed for right hand driven car; making it easy for drivers to upgrade/ change to ford cars. It's a good for for family of 4 if u want to upgrade or start with small sedan. good legroom for rear seats, boot space is also quite decent. climate control A/c is quite good and fast in cooling, even a car parked for 4 hrs in delhi summer sun gets cooled in max 2-3 min. And with ford sync the music interface is great it connects multiple platforms like USB, AUX, Phone, CD carry your music anywhere and connect it to your car and enjoy.. One of the con is power and pick-up, that is little sluggish, another is the service experience , may be I'm dealing with the wrong dealer, Verdict: in one line i would say the car is value for money. P.S: it also has a secret storage on driver side, if you want to hide some things :P
