Crapy Mileage
Bought Hector (5 seaters) Sharp CVT 1.5 L in May 2021. Very good on comfort, luxury, and ride quality. Really disappointed with the mileage. In the city for a 9KM ride, I got a mileage of 6.6. Mileage Issues
In the recent increase in fuel pricing, it is very important to see the average mileage for any vehicle. MG has quoted 14 per Km but the average is up to 2000km- 5 per km which is a little bit of concern. Service Is Pathetic. No Commitments Not Satisfied
Safety is a serious issue as the battery goes dead every time. Mileage is 7 km per ltr of petrol even on highways.

Poor Engine
We had the worst experience with My 1.5-year-old MG hector petrol automatic model. In just 15" rainwater this car got hydrostatically locked and had toe to service center After 1 week they just open the sparkplug and drain engine oil, in which they found some rust and water particles. Poor Mileage

MG Hector 2021 is stylish, bold, and comfortable. I have used the previous version but this new version is more astonishing. Mileage is 16-17 which is descent for 2000cc SUV. Spacious And Feature Packed But Not For Enthusiast
MG is spacious and offers a lot of features. The mileage of sharp diesel is around 10 in city and 13 on the highway. Mg hector is comfortable at low speeds but tends to wobble at high speeds. Not recommended for enthusiastic drivers unless you are ready for aftermarket modification of the suspension system.

I have the MG Hector DCT Petrol version, and its mileage is worse. It comes around 6- 6.5kmpl and the company claims 13kmpl it's a very huge difference. I am very much disappointed.

Better Than Tatti Harrier And Best In Segment
MG Hector is no doubt the best in the segment. Its comfort, features, safety features, build quality, looks, boot space, cabin space, mileage, performance and everything is best in the segment. I had met with an accident with ford endeavour and there were stretches in my hector and endeavour had 3 big dents in the endeavour

Hector - The Urban SUV
This premium SUV has features equivalent to some of the more expensive products with a very good quality of fitment of products. The build quality clearly gives confidence when cruising on highway speeds. The downside of it is the turbo lag that confuses the DCT when to downshift or upshift. So Spacious
Bought MG Hector Sharp DCT petrol in March 2020. Before buying take a test drive of Creta, Seltos also and you will see the difference. So spacious. The only issue is the mileage and if you do not have much concern towards mileage. Excellent car in terms of space, comfort, and features.

Good For Decent Driving Conditions
Good for decent driving conditions. Do not expect adventurously and overtaking in petrol variant as pick up is slightly less compared to diesel engine. Very comfortable and smooth drive experience. City mileage comes around 10kmpl in petrol MT hybrid. Best family stylish SUV with bundled features in this segment.
