I took a test drive of both Patrol & Diesel. Diesel engine lacks initial pick up and is a little noisy, petrol is quite at the start but acceleration is not linear at >20 <60 speed. Really well-designed dashboard. I want to ask expert and user two questions: 1. will this car able to climb steep slope at hill road approx 30 deg. inclination. I am frequently visiting hill stations 2. I am planning to buy Diesel variant. Any problem will be faced for pollution norms as some states are now banning the diesel vehicles, Diesel prices will be hiked more than patrol ?? Please reply
