Despite being a simple hatch, Datsun GO gives the imprints of an opulent car from the outside. Front fade gets a set of swept back halogen headlamps and trapezoidal grille finished with chrome. The bonnet is quite short and bumper is the highlight of the car. At the rear, it comes with clear lens tail lamps and petite windscreen. Interiors are appreciable with impressive features such as USB charging point, follow me home headlamps, full MID & speed-sensitive wipers included by the carmaker. Datsun has done clever management in terms of spacing including the slim seats that makes the cabin quite airy. Powering the GO hatch is the 1.2L petrol mill that can generate the output of 68PS and peak torque of 104Nm. The peppy engine comes mated to five-speed manual transmission. In terms of handling, the car scores brownie points in urban areas while the major problem in the car is the noise levels which may be unbearable. Datsun GO is a hatchback with big aspirations. Though there are downsides as in the case with other budget cars, the car is easy to drive, have spacious interiors and if you are thinking about the cost, it seems like a lot of car for your money.
