The engine has four cylinders and is very responsive, refined and fuel efficient. It churns out 150 hp of power, 200 Nm of torque and delivers 11.25 kmpl of mileage although it’s a compact SUV . Modernistic valve technology ensures that the motor is constantly provided with right amount of air. The variant with automatic transmission takes just 10.4 seconds to turn the speedometer needle in a full swing and attain 100 kmph from nil. It runs on 17 inch star spoke light alloy wheels . BMW X1 SUV manages to do wonders with its outstanding suspension tuning, low centre of gravity and optimal axle load distribution of virtually 50:50. The sDrive models with rear-wheel drive as standard engrain with their agility and maneuverability.
