This powerful diesel car is like a rocket. It's safe and economical, especially in diesel. It's a compact CUV that's fun to drive and comes with low service costs.  

I got this car even after Ford quit India. This car is a beast. I would like to give ratings on the things that I have observed to date, and mind you these are my personal views. 1. Comfort: Its seats are good and very broad. Comfortable at the same time, pretty ergonomically designed. 5/5 rating. 2. Acceleration and handling: I can term this as a beast. It can overtake easily at any gear, and the handling is very accurate too. Fun to drive and can lighten up your mood. 5-5 rating. 3. Safety: Mine is loaded with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ARP, and traction control. 5/5 Rating. 4. Entertainment and sound: The only drawback this car has is the lack of android auto though the speakers sound very premium. Ford could have given android auto, and apple car plays to make this car perfect. But it isn't a deal-breaker for me. 4/5 Rating. 5. Mileage and Features: Well I have clocked around 1400kms, and it has been 27 days since I have bought the car, and it gives me a decent 16kmpl and expect it to increase post-2500 (1st service). Sometimes you have to follow your heart to make your dreams come true. If at all you get a freestyle, buy it without thinking twice to get the wow experience of driving.

I'm a proud Ford Freestyle Titanium Plus Diesel owner and I'm sharing my experience with you. So sit back relax and have a look. If you're one who is concerned or looking for great build quality, outstanding safety features, beautiful ride and handling, excellent suspension setup, brilliant steering feedback, extreme power and performance from the engine, marvellous fuel economy, so much economical after-sales service, and a complete package of practicality. Overall a wonderful package out in the market. But, If you're the one looking for fancy features such as LEDs, DRL(Daytime Running Light), projectors, then go for it, it's a practical car, it's not like the only show on go. Everything has some pros and cons, so here we are with cons now, Little low boot space. Other than that it's one of the most lovable products, if don't believe then do drive one by yourself.

Overall a great experience with my 5 months of usage. Safest car with decent mileage and interior. Driving dynamics are excellent. But Ford left India, just after I own this car 😭😭 very sad for that, and I hope they will stand on their promises and commitments to ensure a smooth service for the existing customers 🙏🙏

I had selected this based on the review given online by users, and the kind of features it has at the given price point. I have not driven many car but had an I20 at home. I didn't even took a test idea if this car but paid the booking amount on just lifting the bonnet of this car. Post purchasing this car and driving it for a month I was happy that I didn't get a Hyundai Maruti or a Tata. Driving dynamics Pro level, mileage 19.5 highway with AC on. Power delivery like no other, AC cools down the car much faster as it has 1.5 ton AC. ground clearance never had ny issue crossing whatsoever, stability amazing, highway confidence top notch, cornering 5/5. Service cost economical then most Tincans and Gimmicks running on road, it is a drivers car. Once a ford lover always a ford lover.

Hassle-free ownership, greater performance, good mileage, low price, lowest service cost, cross over capabilities originally exposed

One of the decent CUV available in India with all necessary features but missing some aesthetic features. First I will go with positives since a lot to mention. Safety: Leading car under 10 lakh price range with nearly all safety features. Body build quality, Good ground clearance, ABS with EBD, ESP, TCS, HLA, EPAS, ARP, 6 Airbags, Seatbelt reminder, Overspeed Reminder, Anti-theft alarm, Rear View Camera, Reverse Parking sensor, Speed-Sensing auto door lock, etc. Handling: Steering response and feedback are excellent, with Slick and accurate gears, a Light clutch, etc. which will make it effortless driving and best for beginners to start to learn driving. ARP is a life-saving feature that will keep the stability of the car without rollover. I have experienced it when taking hairpin bends. Comfort: The fabric seat is very comfortable for a long journey and good thigh support. Headroom and leg space are pretty good for back seat passengers. There is no rear AC vent but the compressor is pretty good and therefore will chill the compartment within 2 mins. Body roll is negligible. Engine and Performance: The diesel engine is a beast with good mileage. If you can afford to always go with the Diesel version. I own a Petrol engine and it is also powerful. The engine is refined to its best. It is silent and you won't hear any sound to the cabin unless at high RPM. You may feel the car is a little bit sluggish in low RPMs but maintaining RPM above 1300 you can feel the power. Mileage: I would say the mileage is good. It all depends on your driving style. On the highway, if you are driving in lightfoot at high gears within 60-80 KM/H and RPM between 2500-3000 you will definitely get around 15-20 KMPL. In City, you will get 12-17 KMPL. In hilly areas, Mileage will be 9-15 KMPL. Mileage should also improve after each servicing. A real-time mileage display in the trip meter is helpful to read the correct mileage. Interior and Exterior: I would say it is normal. Roof rail can be loaded with a maximum of 50kg luggage. Boot space is sufficient for a small family and cannot expect more since is a compact vehicle. The reverse camera is good and provides good night vision. The dashboard is black and looks normal. Plastic quality is okay. There are enough pockets and bottle holders for a long journey. The touchscreen is responsive. Missing Things 1. No Bottle holder in the rear doors but there are pockets behind the front seats and a common bottle holder beside the hand brake which is easily accessible for rear passengers. 2. No DRL or projector headlamps. Stock headlight is normal and not that bright. 3. No front seat handrest. 4. No Android Auto or Apple car play and Sync3.

I've been using Ford Freestyle TDCi for the last 6 months. I'm enjoying every bit of this amazing car. These days, I always try to find some reasons to hit the road, just because I can't stop driving. Also, a special mention about their service centers. Commendable service and support. Negative: A bit outdated looks and style. Useful features such as Android Auto/Apple carplay are missing, but not a deal-breaker though. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this awesome machine.
