My I20 - 7 Years And Counting...

I purchased my i20 Asta(O) Petrol in 2016. It's been a long 7-year-long association of with my car, and to date, I am not at all disappointed by this beauty. The build quality is so good that it still feels like driving a new car. It has (almost) all the features which are offered by the cars of the present day in the same price range. Below are my likes and only a few dislikes: 1. Good build quality. 2. Refined engine - good mileage. 3. Very silent - good cabin isolation. 4. Realistic Features like a cooled glove box, rear ac vents, start/stop button, request sensor-based door opening (for the driver), Follow me home headlamps, cornering lamp (very very useful) tilt+telescopic steering wheel, and more. 5. Wide tires, better grip. 6. Realistic boot space with boot lamp. 7. ABS and Airbags. And the list will go on as my love for my car is growing every day. It looks sexier as it is getting matured. However, there are a few things that I missed from the very beginning. 1. Wheel alignment, If not done in the company service center will be a pain. But if you are doing it in the company service center it may even require a full day waiting for that 30 min job. 2. Had to change the clutch assembly at 5 years which was a bit costly. Still few parts were covered under the extended warranty, thanks to Hyundai. 3. Some components in the AC assembly had to be changed in the 4th year. This was early as compared to the cars of the same price range by other manufacturers. 4. Feels a little underpowered in some situations. Hyundai could have done some tricks here as it is not positioned as a very highly fuel-efficient car. 5. Got jealous when I see the AFE on the competition models' cluster. 6. AVN could have an update with car play and android auto. So, it has been a wonderful 7 years of driving pleasure with my i20. I like it so much that even now, I am unable to find a replacement/upgrade for it. By that logic, I will call it a very futuristic car for India with that price tag
