Just a beautiful car, especially the swoopin g M6 Gran Coupe
The 6-series is BMW?s most exclusive offering, embodying the spirit of elegant grand touring in a most modern fashion. As a coupe or convertible, the 6-series is available with either a 315-hp 3.0-liter inline-six (640i) or 445-hp 4.4-liter V-8 (650i); both engines mate to an eight-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available for all-weather ability. There is also an M Sport package with even more upscale interior and exterior accents for extra bling. Actually, light doesnt even begin to describe the changes BMW has made to the M6 for 2015. The company changed almost nothing about the cars design. While the regular 6-series receives new, lower front air intakes that are painfully reminiscent of Mercedes-AMG, the M6 keeps its previous "jetfighter" look intact, complete with an appropriately jet-styled central front air intake and its host of subtle aerodynamic elements. The M6 is distinguishable from the standard coupe by its large alloy wheels, aggressive bodykit and flared wheel arches, while at the rear it gets unique M6 badging and quad exhausts. Inside, top-notch BMW build quality is present throughout. Quality materials make the BMW M6 an extremely desirable cruiser Thanks to a selection of driving modes, adjustable through the cars on-board computer, the driver can alter things like the suspension, steering and gearbox settings. This allows total control over how the car behaves and thus the level of comfort or sportiness. The softest settings make the M6 a capable long-distance cruiser, while the quiet interior and soft-but-supportive leather seats make the flagship BMW 6 Series a special place to sit. Strong reliability makes the BMW M6 a usable everyday sports car As with all BMWs, the build quality is right up there with the best in the industry. The materials are top notch, while everything from the heating controls to the steering feel solid and well built. As for reliability and owner satisfaction, BMW finishes consistently well in the Auto Express Driver Power survey (a solid 10th out of 33 manufacturers in 2014) but itd be fair to expect greater wear and tear on an M6 than on one of BMWs more mainstream models. Pros Exceptionally powerful engine; responsive dual-clutch automated manual transmission; impeccably trimmed interior with high-tech features; widely adjustable front seats. Cons Feels big and heavy on tight roads; cramped rear seats. What's New for 2016 The 2016 M6 sports standard adaptive LED headlights with subtly restyled elements, and the options list receives some minor tweaks. Also, the Competition package's engine upgrade now produces even more power.
