A clear review of renault kwid

Personal ratings looks - 7/10 engine -9/10 millage - 6/10 ground clearance -9/10 performance -8/10 safety - 5/10 The recent release of French automaker Renault is kwid which comes with all new 1 ltr engine, we know Renault is pretty famous for the engine . the engine of the car is really good, it has a very good response compared to other cars of this segment. The engine quality is also good .the first impression of this car is the electronic gadgets of this car, it has very modern tech fitted in its dash like digital speedometer, auto transmission, entertainment system (touch screen), navigation system, air conditioner. the interior is pretty grand looking for 4.5 lakhs . coming to seating , it is pretty congested for 5 people . The entertainment system is good but only front speakers are available and we have USB and Bluetooth connectivity .coming to safety of the car, it has only driver seat air bag available and front and side impact beams and disc brakes for front tyres and drum brakes for back tyres, but the breaks of car is very bad . the car feels heavy at corner turns, the gear system is auto transmission which is pretty good for city driving. the mileage of the car is very bad, it is only 16 in city and 18-19 on the highway. the suspension of the car is very hard as it has a huge ground clearance. the actually looks like a small frog from outside but the stickering on the car makes it look cool, the lighting of the car is not the best but we have fog lamps .we get a lot of noise into the car as it has a very bad insulation. the car cant be controlled after 80kmph, it won't stop. maintenance of Renault is pretty high compared to Maruti, Toyota, and tata. If you are interested in the car with good ground clearance and pick up, maintenance this is the best car for you but mind that maintenance will be pretty high. If you like maintenance free and family type car I would suggest you to check the alto k10 , celerio, tata tiago , hyundai eon. The cars looks might be deceiving but it is not the best car of the segment , the best competitor for kwid is Datsun go , it has better features but less ground clearance (both are high maintenance) My personal favourite is the Maruti Alto k10 which has less maintenance and good features and good looks with same auto transmission .   thank you Nadella chaitanya
