Renault Duster is the French Car maker's Blockbuster in India.It's got so many features that, it would be difficult to describe in one place.But still, I'll try my best to sum it up here. EXTERIOR- It is bold and beautiful from the outside.The design of its grill and Front bumper give it a majestic look.Bits of black plastic at the bottom end looks good.The three segmented head light cluster looks awesome with black finishes and the LED tail lamps look good at night. But it has no projector head lamps.The exterior is feature filled with ROOF RAILS and ALLOY WHEELS.Turn indicator on the ORVMs add to the splendor.What Renault has done good, is lessened the use of chromes, such as in the door handles which would have looked bizarre.It looks like a decent compact SUV from outside.   INTERIORS- Though the interior is pretty descent but not as good as its rivals.It has almost all features including Air-con, Music player with blue-tooth, USB and AUX connectivity, consistsDriver and co-driver airbags etc as a standard feature. Higher version consist of touchscreen infotainment system and 6 air bags among other features.It lacks the presence of rear AC vents.Space is awesome (perfect for 5 mid-sized adults) with good leg room in both front and back.More glass area makes you feel more comfortable.Rear sit has a center arm rest which also has cup holders. Talking about storage space, it has got enough to satisfy you. The 475-liter boot can accommodate all your luggage. Moreover, other small spaces like glove box ,bottle holders in doors etc add to its capacity.It also has got two 12 V charging ports for your Smartphones and other devices.Also, two reading lamps are provided. PERFORMANCE- The version of duster that we own has a 4 cylinder 1598 cc engine that produces a decent power of 102 hp and a max torque of 145 Nm That delivers a pretty decent driving experience.. You can get more of these in the top end variants. The steering column is perfectly free to take sharp turns. Pushing down the throttle takes a little more time to rev the engine, but that's good for amateurs.The brake response is just amazing.A gentle push on the brake pedal significantly reduces the vehicle's speed. You also get a proper view of the road from the driver's seat.Long drives may be a little tiring, but overall experience in pretty good. Personal thought- Go for it if you want a spacious family car, which perfectly suits the Indian road conditions with a significant road presence.A Value for money.
