WagonR- The best unsfae car

When I first bought WagonR a few years ago, I thought it was a very good purchase considering the cost to features ratio. The car was considered the best in its segment because the price was significantly less than its competitors. But as safety started becoming one of the important aspects of buying a car I thought I was set as everyone was buying WagonR so there should be something good about it in terms of safety, features, price, etc. But after the results of the crash test becoming more popular criteria and WagonR failing in it I thought that my money was wasted. But after driving it for more than 5 years, I can safely say that anyone having a budget and wants a good cost to features ratio car, then they can buy WagonR without any doubt. For my car, I have driven it around 40,000kms in 5 years which seems less but I mostly drove in the city and I live in a moderately sized city in Chhattisgarh. For the first 2 years there were no problems with the car then as usual like other Maruti cars there were battery issues and a clutch plate issue which I thought was too soon for any car, no matter how cheap it is. But because Maruti has a lot of service centers getting my car fixed was easy but the cost of getting my car repaired was pretty high. Forex my bill was 10000 and Labour cost was also 10000 which I couldn't understand. Well leaving that aside, the car has been going pretty well and apart from occasional hiccups, it's going pretty smooth. And also the cost of paint the car is around 10-15k per year. Considering the safety features which there aren't many, I can safely say in today's day and age no one should buy it. Once my 6-year-old nephew accidentally punched the door and it bent inwards as someone hit it with an iron ball. But that was back then when Maruti had no concern for the safety of the passengers, but now days even if they don't want to they have to do because of the competition. In the I would like to say that I was satisfied with my purchase but always thought about safety so I didn't drive as freely I would've loved to.
