The Wagon R 2010; An Okay Family Choice.

I have been using the Maruti Wagon R 2010 model from around 8 years now. My dad actually chose this one for its space, mileage, and price. The car is an okay choice as a family car with a reasonable amount of space and legroom, and great headroom. Thanks to the tall boy design. The boot space is not that great with only 180 liters. As per the Indian mentality, I do get some good average of about 18-19 kmpl in the highway with its claimed average of 17-18 kmpl. So that good news. I am completely disappointed with the riding quality. Like Maruti has never been able to design cars with a value for money tag, always overpriced cars. My car has no safety features like ABS, EBD, Airbags. Even the platform and built quality is too bad. Maruti just tries to get the car choiced for good average but is never concerned about the safety of the customers. Its the fault of the Indian customers too. Indians are always concerned about their money never about safety. A big Plus for Maruti is that its aftersales service. Thumbs up for that. Still, the car is Okay not great.
