I was searching for a car to gift my Dad and Mom, I opted for Alto K10, my dad asked for Swift. He visited the showroom and had a test ride in Alto K10, Swift and WagonR. After the rides he said WagonR will be good to go with, as it was comfortable for him to sit in, yes comfort is a must. We Booked & got the car in August 2014, now it has been used for 17500 Km, never felt that we made the wrong choice. Best Part is seating ergonomics will keep you comfortable even after continuously driving for 500 or more km. Even elderly will be comfortable in getting in and out as well sitting in for longer drives. The services network of Maruti Suzuki in India is the best, you can find Service station even in Places where the is no Mobile network and public transportation. Coming to Vehicle, its 1000 CC K series engine is one of the best running engines of Maruti. Noise isolation of engine to the cabin, Power windows, Mirrors, Reverse Sensors(Added), Interiors quality, Air Condition, Music Quality is at par with Premium cars. Maintenance Cost of this Car is very Low, after three free services at 10000KM we never had reason to visit service station. Maruti insurance is also hassled free one, with regular follow-up or reminders for renewals even. The Gear shift was perfect always, never came with a situation like gear hangs in between. Suspension of the vehicle is exactly what the Indian customers see for; you will never feel difficult while crossing speed breakers or pot holes. Best in class ground clearance too. Mileage of this vehicle is awesome, we get 18-19 Kmpl on highways and 15-16Kmpl in City rides. This is equivalent to other vehicles that were available and manufactured in 2014 in this segment. Recently, My Cousin's Hyundai Grand i10 Car was in a service station for a fortnight, his dad, my uncle, has used our WagonR for 10 Days. On the return of their car from the garage, he started complaining that his car is very low in seating and suspension; Asked my cousin to sell out Grand i10 and go for WagonR.
