It?s been more than 8 months driving the TUV300 now and trust me, the experience has been awesome. No other car in the segment can provide you the commanding seating comfort the way TUV300 gives you, it?s exceptional. Driving pleasure is fantastic and its road presence too is amazing. The suspensions are meant to handle the Indian roads and no doubt they do their job perfectly well. Space inside the Mahindra TUV300 is best-in-class while the feature list is really impressive. This SUV in such an amazing price tag is the true value for money deal. The outer design of the SUV is very eye catchy, its massive size, wide bonnet as well as prominent body line enhances its muscular appeal. Its wide 5-slat radiator grille with chrome inserts is the main attraction at the centre. The square shaped wheel arches give the car old-school looks and appear quirky. The interiors of the TUV300 are much appreciated one with an extremely spacious cabin. The layout inside is quite premium and yet looks minimalistic. You get all features of a typical urban/rural SUV such as 2-DIN infotainment unit that supports Bluetooth, AUX, and USB, electrically adjustable ORVMs, static bending lamps, adjustable lumbar support, 2 front armrests, Blue Sense App, economy modes etc. It?s nice to see Mahindra has given dual airbags, ABS with EBD as standard fitment in the car. Mechanically, Mahindra TUV300 sources its power from 1.5L mHAwk diesel engine with the power output of 100bhp and peak torque of 240Nm. The main highlight of this car is that it is the cheapest 7-seater automatic SUV in the country and that gives it an upper edge over the rivals such as Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport. Moreover, the wheelbase of this car is exactly the same as of Mahindra Scorpio, which means more space inside the cabin. However, there is a downside, despite a 7 seater SUV, there are no rear AC vents as this was necessary for such a huge cabin. Rest, the car has all the goodies you will want in an SUV which comes with a price tag of Rs. 10 lakhs.
