Santro Xing, the King.

Hi! This is my review of Santro Xing (not the 2018 santro). Back in 2013, i was looking an urgent go- to cheap small car for my daily use which was not short on power and quality. I had looked for every cars for my limited budget 4.5 L and none got the me the xing which the santro had. i10 had good quality and engine but looked puny in front of it's mature brother santro. For 3.5L, Santro Xing GLS was mine and let me share my experience with it. What you'll like an all-around urban hatchback, GLS looks sporty with rear spoiler Torquey and smooth engine Tall-boy benefits such as easy ingress, extra head-room etc. High-quality interiors in its class  Excellent but pricey Hyundai service What you want Outdated. Long in the tooth now Lackluster highway performance, short gearing, not efficient? Bumpy ride quality, suspension not abuse friendly Built quality is not as good as Tiago, flimsy doors, hard compound seats In spite of the Cons, I would like to say the Santro Xing was and is still the best car in its segment /used market because no other car offers such good interior quality(my car has done 70k kms without single rattles), smooth 4 cylinders torquey engine, paint quality, and road presence, peace of mind ownership, feedback-rich hydraulic steering. This car will serve you very well for a newbie if taken care timely. Compare that to the latest offering in this segment and none of the car show these qualities. Of course, Tata has come in along with the Tiago but it still lacks a good 4 cylinder engine and the new Santro for me, doesn't justify its predecessor charm with that hideous looks. Let's be fair that new santro is just a new i10. Old remains Gold. Thank you for reading my review.
