    Q.

    Hi. I am planning to opt for zeta cvt.. had 3 questions in mind. 1) have heard from a few, that baleno is notsafe during accidents.. can we safely rely on baleno?? 2) how does the cvt perform uphill?? 3) does additionof a rear camera makes the warranty of the infotainment system void and null?? thanks..

    If you are looking for a hatch that ticks a lot of boxes, the Baleno is a great option. There's plenty of features, efficient engine options and more space than a number of more expensive sedans. If we talk about safety, its built quality could have been better but if it wouldn't have been a safe car, it would not be allowed to be sold. Its engine feels refined and linear in its power delivery its feels just like a Swift when it comes to performance. The gearbox has the typical rubber-band effect of most CVT’s when you put your foot down, but then for most of its in-town use feels quite adept. We can’t help feel that Maruti could have offered or should in the future at least offer more powerful engine options considering how capable the platform is. But what you do get is class-leading fuel efficiency. On hilly terrains, it dose the job nicely but you need to keep the car in a bit upper rmp range. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details. In order to check availability and compatibility of rear camera fitment, we would suggest you to exchange your words with authorised service center. As getting it fitted from other sources, it might hamper your car's warranty.
